Had SO much fun doing this remix of Once More, a cool trance song by nebulou5! Usually a remix adds a beat and chops up the vocals and changes it all but it's funny because for this I added the lyrics/vocals for the remix, and the original is instrumental. (and also epic - click here to listen!) Just look up “Once More (Anastace Remix)” on your favourite streaming platform and turn up the volume!
Here's a cool song created with one of my young composing/production students, who chose the title and composed the motif. Then we worked on developing it in class into this epic adventure song with some really fun sounds and beats. Enjoy 40 seconds of awesomeness and marvel along with us how the engine pistons ACCIDENTALLY even synchronized with the beat of the song.
“A Dreaming Place” is a really magical song composed by Heidi Savoie who wrote this beautiful orchestral piece with many interweaving layers and interesting harmonies. I was happy to add vocals under my "Atlas of the Stars" project, and do the mixing and mastering. January's Ravencall release is a fun song that sounds like a cute, waddling hedgehog, but somehow also a rather magical one who lives in a land of elves and forest tea parties on old tree stumps, and glowing mushroom lanterns in dark caves… Listen on your favourite streaming platform and save it to a playlist for when you need music that makes everyday life ore interesting, and chores feel like a cool sidequest.
I just found a new tab of information in my music distributor, and found out that my little wintery song called “Snowlight” has over 80,000 views on TikTok! Since I'm not on the platform I haven't seen any of the uses - if anyone wants to share a screenshot that would be fun. Anyhow, for your listening pleasure, here is Snowlight (which currently has THREE plays on Youtube lol)
“Snowlight” refers to the way the sun shines through fresh, sparkling snow as it blows around on a frozen winter morning - hope it adds a bit of magic to your day!
If you ever wondered what a cinematic/worldbeat Christmas album would sound like with soaring choral vocals and a Celtic flavour, well, I think I made it! If you have time for only one song, pick the Sussex Carol (Major) for a gloriously happy, festive feel, and if you want a heartbreakingly sad song pick the Sussex Carol (Minor) version!
Just in time for the Orionids meteor shower, here is the song by the same name released by my side project Atlas of the Stars - a perfect soundtrack for some stunning northern light videos by Timo Oksanan. You can see more of his work here
For a mesmerizing, haunting October mood, go full screen on this amazing 4K video of the glorious northern lights.

One of the best Ravencall songs of the year so far!
